Le Petite Covette is a climbing area in southwest Idaho, about 5 miles from the town of Quigley, on land managed by the Bureau of Reclamation. It sits in a cluster of climbing spots that also includes the French Wall and the South of the Border Area, both of which are just a short distance away. The area has three sport climbing routes, all rated 5.10a. They are Half Pint, Pee Wee and Small Fry. The routes are of similar grade, so climbers can expect a consistent challenge across the set. Summer is the most comfortable time to climb here. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 89°F with lows near 53°F, while winter highs stay in the mid-30s. The station sits a few hundred feet from the area, so temperatures at the climbing walls should run about the same.
