Owl Cove Area is a climbing area in Idaho, about 6 miles from the town of Quigley. The land is managed by the Bureau of Reclamation, and several other climbing areas sit right next to it, so this is a cluster of sport climbing spots rather than a single route. The closest neighbors are Rubble Wall, Lower Tier of the Asylum Wall and Cling/Clang Wall, all about 0.1 mile away. That makes it easy to string a few routes together in one outing. The River Trail starts just 0.3 mile off for a walk between climbs. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run from highs around 35°F in December and January to about 89°F in July. June and September are the most comfortable months, with highs near 78°F and 77°F and the fewest wet days of the year. The climbing here is sport, and the grade range is 5.10c to 5.11a. Stonebreaker is the hardest of the three routes, at 5.11a, while Back On The Chain Gang and Jailbreak are both 5.10c.
