Bloomington Lake is a bouldering area in the Montpelier Ranger District of Idaho's Caribou-Targhee National Forest, managed by the Forest Service. It sits about 0.2 miles from the Bloom Boulders climbing area, making the two bouldering spots easy to pair on a single visit. The area has two bouldering routes, both rated in the V0+ to V2-3 range on the V scale. Midnight Stroll is the easier of the two, and Bloomin' Onion is the harder. The routes are all boulders, so no rope is needed. For a longer outing, the Midland Trail and Worm Lake are both about 2 miles away. Willow Flat Campground, roughly 2.7 miles off, offers a place to stay.
