Swami is a mountain biking climb on Bureau of Land Management land in southern Idaho, within the Burley Field Office about 1.7 miles from town. It is a hard ride with a total elevation gain of about 505 feet, and the route is an out-and-back that starts and ends near the 4,200-foot level, reaching a high point of about 4,650 feet. The climb is rolling, but it gets steep at the start. The steepest stretch comes around 0.7 miles in, with a grade of about 11 percent, and the whole trip covers roughly 3.5 miles. For comfortable weather, late spring and early fall are the best bets. Typical averages from the Twin Falls airport weather station, about 8 miles away, run to highs near 69°F in May and 76°F in September, with fewer wet days than the rest of the year. That station sits roughly 500 feet below the route, so temperatures on the climb run a bit cooler. Several other rides sit close by. Sugarloaf and Sweet n' Low are each about 0.1 miles away, and Backdoor is about 0.6 miles off. For a different kind of outing, Rock Creek offers canoeing about 1.6 miles away.
