Border Trail is a short, easy mountain biking route in Idaho, about 4 miles from the town of Avimor. The trail is an out-and-back that covers roughly half a mile, with a start and finish at nearly the same elevation of about 2,900 feet. The climb is flat, with a total gain and loss of about 6 feet each, so it works well as a quick stop or a warm-up before heading to other trails in the area. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from the nearby Boise Air Terminal weather station show May highs around 72°F and September highs around 80°F, while July and August average in the low 90s. Two other mountain biking routes, #85 Barn Owl and Dry Creek Trail, sit about 0.2 miles away, and Landslide Meadow Trail is a hike about 0.3 miles off. Climbers can find Playground, The about 5.5 miles away.
