Around the Mountain is a 12.8-mile out-and-back mountain biking route in the Mountain Home Ranger District of Idaho's Boise National Forest, managed by the Forest Service. The ride gains about 707 feet from the 6,550-foot start to the 6,771-foot high point, and the steepest stretch comes within the first third of the route, with a grade of about 22%. The route makes an easy pairing with other mountain biking in the area. #91 Deer Point sits just 0.1 mile away, and #120 Eastside and the Deer Point Trail are both within about half a mile. Climbers can reach Bogus Boulders about a mile off, and Shafer Butte campground is roughly 2 miles away.
