8th Street Connection is an easy, short mountain biking route in Boise, Idaho, on city land within the Bob's Trail network. The climb is front-loaded, rising about 238 feet in 1.2 miles of out-and-back trail to a high point of 3,481 feet, with the steepest stretch at about 10% grade near the start. The most comfortable months for a ride are late spring and early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Boise run to highs around 68°F in May and 76°F in September, while July and August reach the upper 80s. Several other trails sit close by. #9 Urban Connector Trail is about 0.4 miles away, and #1 Highlands Trail and #30 Bob's are within a mile. For climbing, Bee Block is about 2.7 miles off.
