Upper Camp Creek Trail is a 1.6-mile out-and-back hike in the Weiser Ranger District of Idaho's Payette National Forest, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is rated easy, with a one-way climb of about 240 feet from a low point of roughly 4,373 feet to a high of about 4,616 feet. The route is on natural surface, and both horses and bikes are allowed. That makes it a flexible option for riders and pack animals as well as hikers. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at New Meadows put July and August highs around 85°F with lows in the low 40s, while winter highs stay near freezing. Camp Creek lies about 0.3 miles away, and E/F Brownlee Creek is about 0.7 miles off. Grade Creek and Cracker Jack Creek are both within about 2 miles. For an overnight stay, Buck Park Cabin is about 4.4 miles away.
