Scribner Falls is a 13.4-mile out-and-back hike in Idaho's Idaho Panhandle National Forests, within the St. Joe Ranger District. The trail rises from about 5,300 feet to about 6,000 feet, with a total elevation gain of 450 feet, and it is rated hard. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is natural-surfaced, with horses and bikes allowed. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Mullan Pass show July and August highs around 70°F with only about six wet days a month, while winter highs stay near 28°F. The trail is open from June 1 to September 30, and the parking area is at Table Camp. The Waterfall and Pole Mountain hikes both start within a mile, and Surveyors Lookout campground is about 2.8 miles away.
