North Binarch is a 2-mile out-and-back hike in the Priest Lake Ranger District of the Idaho Panhandle National Forests, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is rated hard, with a total climb of about 1,935 feet, and it starts at roughly 3,500 feet, reaching a high point of about 3,505 feet before returning to the starting elevation. The route is natural-surfaced and allows bikes. It is not an accessible trail. The steepest stretch comes at about half a mile in, with a grade of about 25 percent. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July and August highs around 83°F with only five or six wet days a month, while winter brings highs near freezing and regular snow days. Binarch Mountain lies about half a mile away, and the Outlet at Priest Lake campground is about 1.4 miles off. The Binarch Creek Trail and the Woodrat hike are both within about 2.2 miles.
