Corral Hollow is an easy 2.5-mile out-and-back hike in the Montpelier Ranger District of Idaho's Caribou-Targhee National Forest, about 8 miles from the town of Cherryville. The trail is managed by the Forest Service and has a natural surface, and it is open to both horses and bikes. The route gains about 570 feet in elevation, from a low of about 8,027 feet to a high of about 8,593 feet. That makes it a short, gentle climb for a day on foot or on horseback, with no steep stretches to worry about. Boss Canyon lies less than a mile away, and Egan Basin is about 1.8 miles off. Egan Basin Guard Station, a campground, is about 2.3 miles away, and the Highline Trail is about 3.3 miles away.
