Bryan Mountain is a hard hike of about 4 miles on the natural-surfaced trail in the New Meadows Ranger District of Payette National Forest in Idaho, managed by the Forest Service. The route is an out-and-back that gains about 520 feet, with the low point at 7,579 feet and the high at 8,324 feet. Bikes and horses are both allowed on the trail, so it works for riders and pack animals as well as hikers. Copper Creek is just 0.3 miles away and Rankin Mill is about 1.5 miles off, both hikes. Paddlers can reach Rapid River about 3.4 miles away, and Black Lake Campground is about 5 miles away for an overnight base.
