Graves Creek Campground is a Bureau of Land Management site on the Blackfoot River in Idaho, within the Pocatello Field Office. It offers camping, fishing and non-motorized boating, with five developed campsites that are first come, first served rather than reserved. The site has vault toilets, picnic tables, fire rings and a horseshoe pit, and there are no fees to use it. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Idaho Falls show July highs around 81°F with lows near 50°F, while winter brings highs in the low 30s and regular snow days from December through February. Morgans Bridge Campground is about 1.4 miles away, and Sage Hen Flats Campground and Trail Creek Bridge Campground are both within about 6 miles. Paddlers can head to the Portneuf River, roughly 9 miles off.
