Chastain Park Path Trail is a short, easy walk of about 0.7 miles in Georgia, set within Chastain Park and close to the Powers Lane neighborhood, about 0.3 miles away. The trail rises from 866 feet to 953 feet, with a total elevation gain of 80 feet, and the steepest stretch comes at about 0.25 miles in, where the grade reaches 11 percent. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Atlanta show October highs around 73°F with lows near 51°F, and April is similar at about 73°F by day and 49°F at night. Summer runs hotter, with July highs near 89°F. The walk takes about half an hour, so it works well as a quick outing.
