Twilight is a loop hike on the natural surface of the National Forests in Florida, within the Wakulla Ranger District, about 9 miles long and roughly 74 feet of elevation gain. The Forest Service manages the land. The trail is easy, and the climb is gentle, with the steepest stretch at about 8 miles in, where the grade reaches about 3%. The most comfortable months are typically October and November, when typical highs run in the low 80s and the number of wet days drops to six or seven, based on averages from a nearby weather station in Tallahassee. Summer is hot and wet, with typical highs around 92°F and rain on 15 to 16 days a month in July and August. The route stays open year-round. Bikes are allowed. The East Connector and the Munson Hills Mtn Bike Tr lie about a mile away, and the West Connector and Tall Pine are each within about 2 miles.
