Perimeter Path is an easy, low-impact hike in Camp Bayou Park in Florida, a county-managed property. The route is an out-and-back of about 1.4 miles, and the whole trip adds up to roughly 39 feet of elevation gain and loss, with the most noticeable slope at about 0.15 miles in. It's a short, flat walk that makes an easy addition to a day spent exploring the park's trail network. The most comfortable months are typically from November through March, when typical averages from a nearby weather station run from highs around 72°F in January to 78°F in March, with about five to seven wet days a month. Summer is hotter and wetter, with highs near 91°F and around 17 wet days a month in July and August. The path sits within easy reach of other short hikes. Palmetto Pass and Tortoise Trail are each about 0.1 mile away, and Sandpine Trail is about 1.1 miles off. Little Manatee River State Park Trail lies about 1.7 miles away.
