Tower Yellow Trail is a short, easy hike in Connecticut, about 0.7 miles from the town of Chaplin. The route is roughly 1.3 miles long, with a one-way climb of 184 feet from a starting elevation of about 383 feet to a high point of 535 feet. The trail also has a total descent of 225 feet, so it's a gentle up-and-down walk rather than a steady climb. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Hampton put July highs around 80°F with lows near 60°F, while September cools to highs in the low 70s. Several other trails sit close by. Agnes' Pasture Trail is about half a mile away and Dim White Trail about 0.6 miles. Mt. Hope Park Trails is roughly 1.7 miles off, and climbers can find Joshua's Trust Land about 3.2 miles away.
