Tommy's Trail is a short, easy hike in Connecticut, about a mile from the town of Puddle Town. The route is a point-to-point walk of roughly 0.3 miles, with a low point of 568 feet and a high of 762 feet. The climb is gentle, with a total gain of 166 feet, and the steepest stretch comes early on, around 0.12 miles in, at about 15%. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Bakersville show May highs around 69°F and September highs around 72°F, with July the warmest month at about 82°F. The trail makes an easy addition to a day spent exploring the surrounding network. Breezy Hill Farm Trail is about 0.4 miles away, and the Ray Smith Yellow Trail and Ray Smith Red Trail are each about half a mile off. Paddlers can reach the East Branch Farmington River, about 1.7 miles away.
