Ravine Trail is a short, easy hike in Connecticut, about 2.3 miles from the town of Scotland. The trail is 0.61 miles long, with a one-way climb of 157 feet from a starting elevation of 209 feet to a high point of 282 feet. The steepest stretch comes at about 0.45 miles in, with a 15% grade. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Willimantic show May highs around 70°F and September highs around 74°F, while July averages about 83°F. The Main Loop and Entrance Road both start about 0.2 miles away. Berry Bluff Trail is about 1.6 miles off, and the Upper Tier climbing area is roughly 7.8 miles away.
