Tabernash is a cross-country ski route on Snow Mountain Ranch in Colorado, about 0.7 miles long and rated easy. The land is managed by a non-governmental organization, and the route rises about 115 feet from a low point of 8,683 feet to a high of 8,817 feet. The steepest stretch comes at about 0.58 miles, with a 6% grade. Winter is the natural season for skiing here. Typical averages from the nearby Fraser weather station show January highs around 31°F with lows near -1°F, while June and July run in the low to mid 70s. That station sits a few hundred feet lower than the route, so temperatures on the trail run slightly cooler. The Biathlon and Possum routes both start within about a tenth of a mile. Climbers can head to the Grand County / Fraser Valley area, about 2.6 miles away, and St. Louis Creek Campground is about 5.4 miles off.
