Rj's Vista is a short, easy cross-country ski route in Colorado's White River National Forest, within the Dillon Ranger District and near the Frisco Athletic Fields. The trail is only about 0.15 miles long, with a total elevation gain of 12 feet, so it's a quick outing rather than a full day on the snow. Winter is the natural season for this kind of skiing. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Dillon show January highs around 31°F with lows near 1°F, while June and July run in the upper 60s to mid 70s. The station sits at nearly the same elevation as the route, so its figures are a fair guide to conditions here. Two other cross-country ski routes, M'Rezy and Tex's Trot, both lie about 0.1 miles away.
