It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots, with Elephant Rock, North Boulder and Megalomania Block all about 0.1 mile away. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 74°F and October highs around 66°F, while July averages climb to about 93°F. The Tabeguache Trail and a mountain bike trail near East Creek in Unaweep Canyon are both about 0.6 mile away. KOA Holiday campground is roughly 10 miles off.
