Seed Block is a climbing area on Bureau of Land Management land in Colorado, managed by the Grand Junction Field Office. It sits among a tight cluster of other bouldering and climbing spots, with several neighboring areas within about a tenth of a mile. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to climb here. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show October highs around 66°F and May highs around 74°F, while July averages climb past 90°F. The station sits a few hundred feet lower than the climbing area, so expect temperatures here to run a little cooler. Cedarpelta Block, Pink Floyd Area and Barn Block are all about 0.1 miles away, making it easy to link several areas in one session. The Tabeguache Trail is about 0.6 miles off for anyone who wants to hike or ride.
