Pink Floyd Area is a rock climbing area in Colorado on Bureau of Land Management land, within the Grand Junction Field Office. For the most comfortable conditions, aim for late spring or fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run about 74°F highs and 49°F lows in May, and about 66°F highs and 41°F lows in October. That station sits a few hundred feet lower than the climbing, so temperatures here run slightly cooler. Midsummer is hot, with typical July highs near 93°F, and winter brings highs around 39°F with occasional snow. Main Boulder, Barn Block and Seed Block are all about 0.1 mile away, so it's easy to string several stops together in a single outing. Hikers can reach the Tabeguache Trail about 0.6 mile away.
