Upper Peanuts is a rock climbing area in Eldorado Canyon State Park, Colorado, on land managed by State Fish and Wildlife. It sits within a tight cluster of crags and climbers' trails, so it pairs easily with other walls nearby for a full day on rock. Early fall is the most comfortable time to climb here. Typical September averages from a nearby weather station run about 76°F for highs and 51°F for lows, and May is milder at around 69°F and 45°F. That station sits roughly 500 feet lower, so expect slightly cooler temperatures at the crag. Lower Peanuts and Continental Crag are each about 0.1 mile away, and the Fowler West Trail starts just as close. For an overnight, Winiger Ridge campground lies about 4.7 miles away.
