West Ridge - part A - Verschneidung to base is a climbing area in Colorado's Eldorado Canyon State Park, on land managed by State Fish and Wildlife. As its name suggests, this section of the West Ridge covers the stretch from the Verschneidung down to the base, so it makes sense to plan a visit to the ridge as a whole. For comfortable climbing weather, aim for early fall. Typical September averages at a nearby weather station run about 76°F for highs and 51°F for lows, with October cooling to around 64°F by day.
