Tijeras Peak is a climbing area in Rocky Mountain National Park, within the Rocky Mountain National Park Wilderness in Colorado. The National Park Service manages the land, and the park's wilderness boundaries place it inside the park itself rather than outside it. The area charges a fee. That's the only financial fact confirmed here, so check current rates before you go. Other climbing areas sit right next door. McHenry's Peak is about 0.4 miles away and Shameless Tower about 0.5 miles. For hiking, Andrews Glacier Trail lies roughly 2.2 miles off and Thunder Lake Trail about 2.5 miles. Glacier Basin Campground, about 6 miles away, is the closest place to camp.
