It sits within the park's network of climbing spots and trails, about 0.2 miles from the Castlewood Canyon SP climbing area and the Inner Canyon Trail. For comfortable weather, aim for late spring or early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 67°F and September highs around 76°F, with July the warmest month at about 85°F.
