Honeycomb Spire is a climbing area in Castlewood Canyon State Park in Colorado, on land managed by State Fish and Wildlife. It sits among a close cluster of other climbing areas and hiking trails within the park. For comfortable conditions, September is a good bet, with typical highs around 76°F and lows near 46°F, based on averages from a nearby weather station at Elizabeth. October is cooler, with typical highs around 63°F. Wendell Spire is the closest neighbor, about 0.2 miles away, and the Lake Gulch Trail starts at about the same distance. The Terminal Area and the Canyon View Nature Trail are both about 0.3 miles off, so it's easy to combine a session here with more climbing or a short walk in the canyon.
