The Shoulder Boulders are a climbing area in Alderfer/Three Sisters Park, on county land in Colorado. The park is managed by the county, and the boulders sit among a cluster of other climbing spots and trails, making it easy to pair a session here with a hike or another climb. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Evergreen show July highs around 81°F with lows near 49°F, while winter highs stay in the mid-40s. Ranch View Trail starts just 0.1 mile away, and Eggs, The and Subterranean Wall (A.K.A.) The Dragon's Den are both about 0.2 mile off. For a longer outing, Bear Creek offers canoeing roughly 1.4 miles away.
