Naturita and Paradox Valley is a climbing area in Colorado, on Bureau of Land Management land within the Uncompahgre Field Office. The area is managed by the BLM and sits in the Paradox Valley corridor, with the closest town being Naturita. Climbers will find a mix of sport and trad routes, plus one boulder, spread across eight routes in total. The grades range from 5.9 to 5.12-, with sport routes like Sucker Train Blues and Midnight Ravers and trad routes like Barney Rubble and The Cheeseheads. The most comfortable months for climbing are May and September, when typical averages from a nearby weather station run to highs around 76°F and 83°F, while July highs reach about 94°F. Winter brings highs in the low 40s and regular snow days from December through February. Several other climbing areas and trails are close by. Sunshine Wall (River Road area) is about 1.5 miles away, Porcelain Wall is about 6.9 miles away, and the Saucer Basin West Side Trail and Middle Saucer Basin Access Trail are both within a mile.
