Sunshine Wall is a climbing area along the River Road in western Colorado, on Bureau of Land Management land within the Uncompahgre Field Office. The nearest weather station sits at Uravan, about 4 miles away, at a similar elevation to the crag. Spring and fall are the most comfortable seasons to climb here. Typical averages from the Uravan station show October highs around 72°F with lows near 37°F, while July highs average about 97°F. Several other spots lie close by. The Shamrock Trail (Y-11) is about half a mile away, and the Saucer Basin West Side Trail is just over a mile off. The Naturita and Paradox Valley climbing area is about 1.5 miles away, and the Porcelain Wall is roughly 8 miles away.
