Lizard Block is a bouldering area within Three Sisters Bike Park in Colorado, on city-managed land. It sits among a cluster of climbing areas, with Main Area, Joe 97 Boulder and Easy Block all about 0.1 mile away. The Tabeguache Trail (Lunch Loops) and Painted Bowl Trail also start within a tenth of a mile, so it's easy to pair a bouldering session with a short walk or a ride. The climbing here is all bouldering, with seven routes spread across the V0-1 to V6-7 range. Lizard Head is the easiest, at V0-1, and Peter Parker is the hardest, at V6-7. Miles Morales and The Traveling Fist sit around V4. The area works well for climbers who want to move between different grades in a single visit. For timing, late spring and early fall are the most comfortable. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Grand Junction show May highs around 77°F and September highs around 82°F, while July averages reach 95°F. The Camp campground is about 1.5 miles away, and Camp Eddy is about 3.4 miles away, so either can serve as a base for an overnight stay.
