The Keep is a climbing area in Alderfer/Three Sisters Park, on county land in Colorado. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots and trails, with several other named areas and routes within a short distance. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Evergreen show July highs around 81°F with lows near 49°F, while winter highs stay in the mid-40s. In Between Egg/Upper Eggs and Trailside Egg are both climbing areas about 0.2 miles away, and the Dedisse Park Trail and Hidden Fawn Trail are hikes at the same distance. Bear Creek, a canoeing spot, is about 0.7 miles off.
