Golden is a bouldering area in Colorado, about 2.5 miles from the town of Golden. It sits among a cluster of climbing and hiking spots, with the North Quarry / Pinnacle Area and the Crater Crag of North Quarry climbing areas about 1.6 to 1.7 miles away. The climbing here is all bouldering, and the routes run from V4-5 up to V7-8. Three of them are named: Closer at V4-5, The Prophet at V6-7 and Predictable at V7-8. For a change from the rocks, the Cedar Gulch Trail starts just 0.6 miles away, and the Mount Galbraith Loop is about 1.2 miles off. The North Quarry / Pinnacle Area is close by for more climbing, and Clear Creek RV Park is about 2.3 miles away for an overnight stay.
