Freight Train Boulder is a climbing area in Eldorado Canyon State Park in Colorado, managed by State Fish and Wildlife. It sits within the state park, and the surrounding land is part of the park's network of climbing and outdoor recreation. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 79°F with lows near 50°F, while winter highs stay in the low 40s. Coal Creek Canyon and the Walker Ranch Loop mountain biking route are both about 0.8 miles away.
