The Exit Wall is a sport climbing area in Colorado's White River National Forest, on the Sopris Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land, and the area sits among several other climbing spots close at hand. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. A nearby weather station at Meredith records typical July highs around 81°F and lows near 40°F. That station sits roughly 1,400 feet below the wall, so temperatures on the rock run cooler. The area has six sport routes, ranging from 5.10d to 5.12a. Exit Strategy (5.10d) and No Exit (5.10d) are the easiest, and Larry's Route (5.12a) is the hardest. Climbers can also reach The Schoolyard and The Blank Check Wall, both about 0.2 miles away.
