Roof Rock is a climbing area in the Holy Cross Ranger District of White River National Forest in Colorado, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots and campgrounds, with Hornsilver Campground and the Eagle River just a short distance away. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Vail show July highs around 77°F with lows near 42°F, while winter highs stay in the 20s.
