The Dungeon is a climbing area in Castlewood Canyon State Park in Colorado, managed by State Fish and Wildlife. It sits among several other climbing spots in the park, including Cat's Den, the Central City area and Falls Wall, all about 0.1 mile away. For comfortable weather, aim for late spring or early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 67°F and September highs around 76°F, with July the warmest month at about 85°F. The Creek Bottom Trail and Rimrock Trail are both about 0.6 mile away. For an overnight stay, The Pinery RV Lot is about 7.6 miles off.
