Jody's West is a mountain biking destination in the Dillon Ranger District of Colorado's White River National Forest, managed by the Forest Service. It sits at an elevation of about 9,160 feet, and the route rises to about 9,280 feet before descending, making it a short climb of about 200 feet with a little more than a mile and a half of trail. The climb is gentle overall. The steepest stretch, a 9% grade, comes at about 1.4 miles. The trail also dips slightly lower than the start, so the total descent is about 300 feet over the course of the route. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 75°F with lows near 38°F, while winter highs stay around 30°F. Jody's Loop and Lakeshore Perimeter both sit just 0.1 mile away. For overnight stays, Peak One Campground is about 0.2 mile off and Pine Cove Campground about 0.3 mile.
