Buzzsaw is an easy out-and-back hike in the Dillon Ranger District of Colorado's White River National Forest, about 1.1 miles long with a total elevation gain of 67 feet. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is on natural surface, so the climb is gentle and the route stays low. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from the nearby Dillon weather station show July highs around 75°F and lows near 38°F, with September still reaching the mid-60s. The Dickey Day Use Trailhead is the parking for the hike, and the route is open year round. Jody's West and Crown Point Road both sit within a quarter mile, and Peak One Campground and Pine Cove Campground are each about a mile away for anyone planning to stay the night.
