Ward Lake Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Grand Valley Ranger District of the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests in Colorado. It sits among a cluster of recreation sites, with Cobbett Lake and Cobbett Campground about 0.3 miles away and the Cobbett to Ward Trail and the Cobbett to Ward mountain biking route just beyond. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically July and August, when typical averages from a nearby weather station run from highs around 64 to 68°F and lows near 40°F.
