Transfer Horse Camp is a Forest Service campground in the Mancos/Dolores Ranger District of Colorado's San Juan National Forest. It sits within the district's network of trails and campgrounds, and the nearest town is Cortez, about 22 miles away. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically June and September.
