St. Louis Creek Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Sulphur Ranger District of the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests in Colorado. It's a simple base for an overnight stay in the mountains, with vault toilets as the main amenity. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Fraser weather station show July highs around 77°F with lows near 38°F, while winter highs stay around freezing, with January lows dropping to about -1°F. The Creekside Loop and Creekside mountain biking trails sit just 0.1 mile away. Saint Louis Creek, a paddling route, is about 3 miles off, and Byers Creek Campground is roughly 4 miles away for another camping option.
