Peaceful Valley Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Boulder Ranger District of the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests in Colorado. It sits among a cluster of trails, climbing areas and other campgrounds, making it a convenient base for exploring the surrounding area. The site has vault toilets, and a fee is charged for stays. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Allenspark show July highs around 74°F with lows near 44°F, while winter highs stay around freezing. Several other spots are close by. Beaver Reservoir Cutoff Trail is about 0.7 miles away, Camp Dick Campground is 0.8 miles off, and the Moose Rock climbing area is 0.9 miles away. Middle Saint Vrain Creek, a canoeing route, is about 1.1 miles from the campground.
