North Fork Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Blanco Ranger District of Colorado's White River National Forest. It sits within the forest's recreation infrastructure, and the land is managed by the Forest Service. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Yampa, at a similar elevation, show July highs around 79°F with lows near 46°F, while winter highs stay around freezing. A fee is charged for recreation at this site. The closest neighbors are the Big Ridge Cutoff and Lost Creek hikes, both about 1.6 miles away, and Wild Cow Park at 2 miles.
