Campsite WG 45 is a Forest Service campground in the Gunnison Ranger District of the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests in Colorado. It sits among a cluster of numbered campsites, with Campsite WG 44 and Campsite WG 46 both about 0.1 mile away. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Crested Butte put July highs around 76°F with lows near 40°F, while winter highs there stay in the mid-20s and lows drop to single digits or below.
