Wassama Round House State Historic Park

Wassama Round House State Historic Park is a small, 26-acre park in California, about half a mile from the town of Ahwahnee. California's state park agency manages it, and it is one of the compact historic sites in the area around Ahwahnee rather than a large backcountry destination. For weather, typical averages from a nearby station at the south entrance of Yosemite National Park, about 11 miles away and just over 5,000 feet up, point to late spring through early fall as the mildest stretch.
