Sibley Volcanic Regional Preserve is a park managed by the East Bay Regional Park District, about 2.6 miles from the town of Orinda, California. Late summer into early fall is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Berkeley show highs around 75 to 76°F from August through September, with only a day or two of rain each month. Winter is cooler and wetter, with highs near 59°F and about 11 wet days a month in December and January. Several trails start close by.
