Pelican State Beach

Pelican State Beach is a 9-acre state park on California's coast, managed by the state park agency. The nearest town is Harbor, Oregon, about 3.7 miles away, which places this small beach just south of the state line. Summer and early fall are the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Brookings show highs around 68 to 69°F in July and September, with only four or five wet days a month.
